Finishing Touches

Doll noses don't have to be stitched. Use a Copic marker to draw on a nose shape. Dab on the colour and build up until you reach the desired shape and depth of colour. Shadowing around the eyes can be added with a light brown or grey colour and diluted to "blend" into the fur with a Copic Blender pen. Pan pastel powder can be added using a Q-tip or small brush to the inner ears, the edges of the ears, areas of the body, paws, and even doll clothes for a lovely effect. Set the powder with 1 drop of coconut oil rubbed between your hands and massaged over the areas. I just know this kitty would like some freckles and whiskers and a little heart-shaped purse. Her bow is from a store that sells children's hair accessories!
