I had some fun in the studio experimenting. First, I designed a 4-part front head pattern and made up the bunny. I was going for a puffy, fluffy, cheeky look however the final face shape resembled a puppy or monkey! Next, I used pan pastels, felt markers, and soft pencil crayons to hand-colour parts of the face and around the eyes. Well, I am not sure it was a total success. So much to learn. I ended up needlefelting wool on the nose and around the eyes to cover a few boo-boo's.
More work is needed to even out the nose, perhaps add some freckles and/or whiskers, maybe add some colouring inside the ear and on the toes and paws to finish?
